The main question when creating artificial intelligence is how the learning process takes place.
1 way:
and, it must be acknowledged that these attempts are rather effective and have borne fruit in a number of industries:
1)Unmanned cars (companies Tesla и Google)
Modern attempts to create AI are based primarily on neural networks,
2)Pattern recognition (Google images)
3)Speech recognition (Siri, OK Google)
4)Universal translator (Google translator)
But the approach to creating AI based on neural networks has a number of limitations stemming from the very meaning of neural networks. What are neural networks?
This is a huge set of small signal transmitters - neurons (in the human brain up to 100 billion pieces) interacting with each other. These transmitters can receive and send signals in accordance with a certain behavior program.
There are different models and different programs, but in essence the work of neural networks can be described as follows: imagine a person to whom important information was transmitted - this person got excited, started to try to find to whom can be transfered this important information and distribute the information as much as possible Wider. And so he began to run up to everyone on the street in an attempt to tell his knowledge. But someone is very busy and can not answer, someone can, but does not understand the person seeking communication. Someone can and understands - but just do not know what to do next with this information and turns out to be a dead-end addressee. And only a few will be able to receive the signal, understand the signal and broadcast it further. Neurons also behave the same way. After receiving the signal, they randomly communicate to all the other neurons in an attempt to spread the signal further. So chains of neural connections are built-chains of those neurons that could interact.
The key problem is that a random walk of the signal in search of the addressee can last too long (millions of years) or may not be successful at all (in view of the death of the neuron or switching it to other tasks).
ie once again - learning based only on neural networks is too long a path and an unreliable path because by chance.
Therefore, there are other ways:
2 way: repetition
Thus, children are taught in schools in 90% of cases. Multiple repetition of a preconceived program leads to its assimilation. But there is no so-called creative element.
Reason, brought up on repetition, gets used to it and becomes incapable of independent learning through neural networks - a long, but effective way. And just as incapable of analyzing and structuring information - to the 3-rd way, which the Pangeya technology pave to create the AI
3 way: analysis of information structure
THINKING IS A COMPARISION! - here it is the key idea of the whole technology Pangeya: comparison of blocks of information through analysis of the structure of this information!
To create the idea, to the signal between neurons has passed - it is necessary to note the similarity of one block of information to another!
ie imagine again a man running along the street in an attempt to convey a thought - but speaking a foreign language with everyone on the street - he can not do it! He is just no one will understand! But if a person speaks one language with you or at least looks like a SIMILAR language, then you already have chances to understand each other.
So it is with artificial intelligence. He takes into consideration two blocks of information: and if he finds them in something similar - creates a link. If they are completely different, it compares other blocks of information until a link is found.
And the structure of information can be described through objects endowed with properties. And it is through the comparison of properties that we can compare objects with each other and establish their similarities.
People never come up anything, and it's impossible at all. You can observe the surrounding reality, and compare the previously stored information with information coming from outside. If we find a strong similarity of what is available and come - an idea is born = a link. And we always inevitably make a comparison by analyzing the properties of objects
So, for example, from the table above you can see that Tomato and the Sun are more similar to each other (by the properties of the form and color) than the grandfather Frost and the tomato (by the properties of the color).
In conclusion, I must say that all three of the above-mentioned methods of learning are important and necessary. And they should be used all 3-only so you can achieve effective result.
Neural networks are good - when you are learning something completely new, generally unknown. But this is long and unreliable.
Repetition and ready algorithms are good - where the articficial intellegence should be taught very quickly and accurately to something already known in advance.
And the analysis of the structure of information is simply vital, when it is necessary to create new information on the basis of what was previously studied through the formation of links = similarities based on the analysis of the properties of objects. This is the so-called logical thinking.
Essentially, all 3 ways are manifestations of different aspects of the same process:
1)repetition: people contribute to their accounts the information they know, i.e. as a matter of fact repeat that already know to the computer
2)the information entered will randomly be compared in its structure with other information described in the same properties - neural networks operate here, they will carry out a search process with whom to interact
3)and finally, at the tip of the pen - at the moment of contact of 2 blocks of information selected by the neural network, objects will be compared through their properties
(Siri, OK Google)

Win over Google? It is simple!
I would like to draw the attention of the venerable public: I respect Google and its creators, the presented article is just an attempt to tell a little about the development of Google in a satirical form, which sometimes does not conform to the stereotypes living in minds. Very many of them have collapsed, and after reading the book “Google. A breakthrough in the spirit of time ”by David Wise. This article was born precisely after reading this book.
All of us sometimes find ourselves captive to stereotypes. So the idea of the success story of Google has evolved in my mind for a long time more from abstract stereotypes than on the basis of facts. It’s better not to ask where the stereotypes come from, they just are. And here is one of them.
An ordinary guy from Russia meets another ordinary guy from the USA and as a result of communication and friendship they have a mega-idea. Having created everything on the knee, the guys lock themselves in the garage and from there alone quietly conquest the world with their excellent ideas, which they do not tire of inventing. One fine day, the guys wake up and, what a mirracle! They are already billionaires, everyone and everybody knows their names, and people use their service in all countries of the world. A kind of variant of the so-called “American dream”, about which we hear so much: “as a child I sold matches on the street, and by the age of 60 I had accumulated a billion”.
Oho! Have you already an idea? And you even gathered to go on this stereotypical path leading to the seizure of the world? Wait a minute, let's formulate a few conditions necessary to defeat Google. Beat them with their own weapons!
Simple guys
All of us consider ourselves to be “simple guys,” well, actually, why are we worse than Page, or especially the former compatriot Brin? Well, no, really? Well, except that not all of us dad worked as an employee of the state plan in the USSR. What? Isn't your dad a finance ministry official? Well I do not know. Probably, even without such a dad, we will be able to immigrate to the United States and go to the University of Maryland, in which your dad will not be as a teacher.
Stop. Do you still consider Bryn and Paige "simple guys"? Well, you will not be difficult to get a bachelor's degree at a university in the United States at 19 and enroll in a doctoral degree program at Stanford University.
Mega-idea on the knee
As we remember, we already have a mega-idea. The case remains for a small - somehow implement it, at least try. I hope you have the capacity of the Stanford Institute, its patent office, its support in the form of doctoral staff and the staff of the institute themselves. Don't you have? Well, at least you have someone who will pay you a place of research, your traffic, your resources? What? No one will give you even 10 thousand dollars, as Brin and Paige received it as part of the Digital Libraries project ?! Some strange mega-idea that was born in the wrong environment.
All by yourself
As is well known, “perseverance and hard work will be done a lot” I did not like this saying from childhood. It seems to sound cool, but you will see that some other principle works everywhere: “communication and kinship is always good.” But we know that we are simple guys. Truth be told Page and Brin had an acquaintance and meetings with David Filo, one of the founders of Yahoo! and Paul Flati, the creator of AltaVista, but this is so - nothing. In addition, meanwhile speaking, Paul is a graduate of the same institute where we studied too! What? Is there no AltaVista founders at your institute? How so? Simply you have finished some strange institutions. Otherwise, if you received a doctoral degree at the right university, a professor at your university would introduce you to a man like Andy Bechtolsheim, one of the founders of Sun Microsystems, who travels on a Porsche and can easily write you a check for $ 100,000 on the first day of your acquaintance.
Capture the world from the garage
You, probably, have already hurried and bought a garage, for sure, of Soviet times, in which the car hardly fits. Well, never mind. You did it, because you already have a working system in your pocket, a mechanism run-in on the hardware base of the Stanford Institute and you have got a donation of hundreds of thousands dollars from Bechtolshiy. It remains only to sit and wait until everything rushes to use your system. What? There is not anyone? And did you not send emails, did you not send messages via ICQ? You're kidding! After all, even Bryn and Paige, such simple guys, did it.
By the way, are you sure that your garage is suitable for facilities comparable to those used by the creators of Google? They ordered computers in batches of 21 exemplars. What? Do you have so much space in the garage ?! Some kind of wrong garage. By the way, I forgot to tell you, Brin and Page spent only half a year in the garage, and then moved into another building, where they occupied an entire floor. Well, it's not disgusting? Only you bought a garage, and it's time to sell it.
Let’s Crush google
So, things are in order, everything works, all is spinning. Togo and look we become billionaires. But somehow for a long time capital does not go to us , and self-sufficiency somehow does not appear, that if you look at the money - it soon will not be enough and a hundred thousand dollars will end soon. What to do? Well, of course, contact your friends and relatives. What? You do not have those who can give you a million dollars? Yes, you are laughing! What are weird your relatives and friends. They gave easily money to Bryn with PJ , but why don't they give you something? Well, okay, then you probably managed to find venture funds like Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia, which gave Brin and Page $ 25 million. What? You can not find such amounts? Well, I do not know, for sure, you were looking for money very bad.
Let's Become Billionaires
As you see, it is easy to become billionaires; all you have to do is observe a few points described above. Your mega-idea captured the world, venture capital works, everything goes as it should. You even have someone who helps you, like Eric Schmidt, who used to work at Sun Microsystems as chief engineer and director general at Novell. What?! There's no such guy? And what guy do you have? Well, is there although any guy you have?! No? Well, you're kidding! Let,s search faster!
Conclusion
You did everything right! We went to the IPO and became billionaires. The goal was achieved and, you should notice, the conditions for achieving this goal were not so much. Just some small actions - to do what is written in this article. What? It's impossible?! Well, You're kidding! Brin with Paige did it, and you say "impossible." Let's Learn yourself!

Google
